About Channel Chamber
Chambers of Commerce have evolved over the past 150 years and today they represent businesses large and small across the world. In France and in other parts of Europe ALL businesses are required by law to join their local Chamber but here in the UK and elsewhere businesses simply make a choice to join as members by paying an annual fee. Member businesses in the UK therefore manage their own Chambers for their own benefit.
The British Chambers of Commerce (BCC) is the national body for a powerful and influential Network of Accredited Chambers of Commerce across the UK; a Network that directly serves not only its member businesses but the wider business community.
The BCC is the Ultimate Business Network for small businesses. No other business organisation has the geographic spread of the BCC. Every Chamber sits at the very heart of its local business community providing representation, services, information and guidance to its members.
High on the BCC’s agenda is helping British business thrive so the BCC works with Government to shape policy affecting businesses, and focuses on key areas of activity including International Trade, Skills Development and Business Services.
The BCC also partners with leading organisations such as RBS, BT, and Microsoft to deliver the very best services and advice for your business.
With a number of small business initiatives including an online networking portal, Essential Business Start Up pack and Business Growth Clubs, the Chamber Network can support your business throughout its lifecycle from start-up, development, growth and beyond.
No matter where you are based, the type of business you are or whether your objectives are on a local, national or international scale, Channel Chamber can help meet your goals.
